The Apothefinca Story

Apothefinca translates as ‘Apothecary Farm’. It’s a 5 acre organically farmed jungle home and movement arts sanctuary. It’s a beautiful place to come and stay as a guest to enjoy a work stay or a surf holiday; it’s a magical place to learn about herbal medicine making, take art and yoga classes, kids nature school and medicine retreats. It’s also Lucy and her kids home. It’s the place where all the skills Lucy Paget has aquired manifest - healing, movement, nature study, art & music.

At Apothefinca you can visit and stay at the 2 bedroom cottage for your own personal retreat or tropical escape; you can pick up fresh, organic veggies and eggs on a weekly basis; you can learn about healing herbs, plant medicines and deeply organic tropical gardening; AND you can do one on one or group work with Lucy (osteopathy, movement medicine and farm workshops).

Here’s what guests say about Apothefinca:

It’s such an incredible place and I can feel the magic of it every time I visit.” - Candace Cooke, Yogi-Mother-Realtor from Calgary, Canada

“Apothefinca is a little slice of heaven. Lucy has created a unique idyll from the ground up; the guesthouse itself is perfectly appointed, nestled in gardens that abound with medicinal, nourishing plants which Lucy is more than happy to share. Despite the tranquil, off-the-beaten-track vibe of Apothefinca, by the time our second night was complete, we had enjoyed pedicures, massages on Lucy's stunning yoga deck, and a night of guitar and song - all arranged by our host herself; nothing was too much trouble. Apothefinca is paradise found!” - Polly Beynon, Yogi & Mom, Derbyshire, UK

We loved our stay at Apothefinca! The land is very special and Lucy did a great job landscaping and has a beautiful organic vegetable and herb garden. The workers on the farm are super friendly and you can ask them anything about the garden and they will happily share their knowledge with a big smile. The house is a beautifully designed and is very comfortable and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen and Lucy left some goodies from the farm in our fridge upon our arrival. We had organic eggs almost every day, kale, arugula, lettuce, tomatoes, basil, mangos, watermelon, lemons and more.” - Jorge & Christina, Yogis & Digital Nomads from San Diego, USA & Venezuela
